Miscellaneous

peppermint

This is my first blog post on Eugenia Essentials.  I hope I can help spread the word about this story I just heard of from the Indie Beauty Network Blog.

The Crosby Mint Farm in Michigan is being foreclosed on because they missed a payment and the bank called in all their loans. The Crosbys are one of the last four mint farms left in Michigan. They grow organic peppermint and spearmint.

You can help by purchasing a $5 dram of peppermint essential oil or any of their products which include spearmint essential oil, mint honey which sounds like it would be wonderful in hot tea, chocolate mint toffee, and soy mint candles.

Peppermint is one of the oils I use in my Tummy Helper & Breathe Again blends at Eugenia Essentials. It’s a wonderful cooling oil for headaches, nausea, sinus problems and mental fatigue to name a few benefits. I’ve also used it to repel ants! Much safer and nicer smelling then some toxic bug spray. While it doesn’t actually kill the ants, it does send them packing. I’ve read mice don’t like peppermint either.

Here is the link to their website: www.getmint.com

Please help them by spreading the word or with a purchase and save an American Organic Essential Oil Farmer!

Thanks!
