Why choose essential oils?
Today many people want to escape the use of products loaded with synthetics and harmful chemicals. Essential oils give them a natural alternative. Essential oils are produced from the leaves, roots, fruits, flowers and bark of plants by distillation or cold pressing until finally we are left with the chemical essence of the plant’s immune system in liquid form. Each plant imparts its own special attributes for healing and two or more oils combined in a blend impart even more healing power by working synergistically.

Essential oils work not only on the physical body by entering through the skin cells, but also on the emotional body as the aroma molecules enter the nose and affect the brain through the limbic system. Over our life time we build a scent memory bank and nothing works more powerfully or more quickly than our sense of smell. The sense of smell is entirely subjective, so you will find yourself naturally drawn to certain oils over others. Another benefit of essential oils is they do not accumulate in the body.

Essential oils enhance our everyday lives in so many ways, we don’t even realize. Can you imagine chewing on that stick of gum without the taste of spearmint or peppermint? And a bath is just a bath until you transform it with scented bath salts…now it’s your private home spa!

This is a list of some of the oils Eugenia Essentials uses and a partial listing of benefits. Essential oils should be avoided during pregnancy and not used on children under the age of two years.
